Finally the project begins. We spent the first two weekends doing an inventory and evaluating everything. Hank had spent 25 years collecting the car and parts. The motor was rebuilt and sitting in the painted frame. Some of the other major assemblies were partially completed, which made our job a little easier. We moved the car from Hank's home to Neal's in September. The restoration actually started in October.

The body had most major repair work done by Rollie Farr. Rear fender patch panels installed, fire wall holes filled, etc.
There are still some dents to repair and welds that need body filler. The doors have to come off so they can be repaired and painted.
The engine came rebuilt and installed in the chassis.
