Upholstery Installation Continued

The windlace is trapped under the panel and then pinched by the metal channel along the window.

Notice the end of the windlace.  The center core has been cut away (about a half inch) and the cloth is tucked in.

Al is finishing up by installing the window sill.  The window seal (a metal strip with a rubber insert) is under the sill and you will find that if it is a repro part you will have to modeify it the make it fit.  The window sill traps the door panel fabric along the top edge.
