Finally got the body prep work done and most everything has been primed.  Started painting fenders and splash aprons first.
 
The body is two-tone.  Upper body Elkpoint Green, lower body Kewanee Green. 

Watch for page 5 and 6 coming soon with more paint parts and assembly.

We're using PPG "Concept" acrylic urethane paint with a activator (hardner).

The gas tank has already had one coat of paint and has been sanded out with 220 paper and is ready for a second coat.

Had to be extra careful on the hood to avoid paint runs.

If the paint is pretty good, very little dust or other defects, we block sanded with 600 grit wet sand paper and then started polishing with a course 3M compound.  The splash apron was finished with 3M ultra glaze.
